Greyzed Theme for WordPress.com

Hell Has Frozen Over

I never thought I would see the day when WordPress would have a really awesome looking theme.  Back in the day the coolest themes were probably ChaoticSoul and Vigilance.  WordPress has started to come out with some decent themes and Greyzed is absolutely one of them.

Greyzed Features

Uh, It Just Looks Good

The color scheme is really nice.  Nice big title so there is no mistaking what the site is called.  The comment bubble is a nice feature.

Drop Down Menu

With the Greyzed Page Tabs at the top you are able to have parent categories.  For Example, let’s say that you have a category about cars but you want to add different types of cars without the top of your site getting all bunched up.  Easy to fix.

Let’s say you make a new page called Porsche.  When you are creating this page just go over to the right and look for Page Attributes.  You will see a drop down menu that says (no parent).  Click this and locate your Cars category.  Once you publish your page Porsche will drop down from the cars category when clicked.

Footer

I hate when I am not able to use my footer space for something.  I think putting too much stuff in the sidebar is unattractive and distracting.

What are your thoughts on the Greyzed theme for WordPress?  Please share your thoughts in the comments!

How can I permanently remove the comment bubble from all posts? It’s not a feature that I want to use.

Are you using wordpress.com? If so I believe that you would have to purchase the CSS upgrade in order to edit the comment bubble.
